What to Expect
-

When you arrive
Please aim to arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time. This allows time to park, find the clinic, use the facilities if needed, and complete any final pre-appointment details.
If you are attending one of our clinic locations for the first time, please allow a little extra time so you do not feel rushed.
If you are running late, please contact us as soon as possible. We will always do our best to accommodate you, but late arrival may reduce the time available for your appointment.
-

What to wear
Please wear clothing that allows the area being assessed or treated to be easily accessed and moved comfortably.
For example:
Lower limb appointments: shorts or loose-fitting trousers
Shoulder, neck or upper back appointments: vest top, sports bra, or loose-fitting top
Lower back appointments: comfortable gym-style clothing
Exercise-based rehabilitation: trainers and suitable exercise clothing
You may be asked to perform simple movements or exercises during your appointment, so please wear clothing that allows you to move freely.
-

During your appointment
Your physiotherapist will take time to understand your symptoms, medical history, goals and activity demands. This will usually be followed by a physical assessment, discussion of findings, and a treatment or rehabilitation plan tailored to you.
Treatment may include hands-on therapy, exercise prescription, advice, rehabilitation planning, or use of appropriate clinic equipment depending on your presentation.
-

After your appointment
Your physiotherapist will explain the recommended next steps, including any exercises, activity modifications, follow-up appointments or referrals if required. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions before you leave.
